Best Austin Handyman & Remodeling

A Website the Team Can Own, Built Around the Services Homeowners Search For

Location
Austin, TX
Platform
WordPress with Kadence Pro

The Brief

Best Austin Handyman & Remodeling is a family-run company serving Austin and its north suburbs with handyman work, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, decks and patios, and water damage rebuilds. For many homeowners, first contact begins with a search.

The business needed a website that made that first contact useful. Someone looking for a bathroom remodel at nine at night should reach a bathroom remodeling page, see examples of similar work, and request a quote without hunting for a phone number.

The previous site ran on a proprietary platform, hard to update, that brought recurring security and maintenance problems, and left the team dependent on a system it did not control.

What We Built

  1. A Website the Team Can Own

We moved the company from a proprietary platform to WordPress with Kadence Pro and Kadence Blocks. The site uses reusable blocks the team can edit, so routine updates no longer depend on the vendor who built the previous site.

  2. A Page for Every Service Homeowners Look For

Handyman work, kitchen remodeling, bathroom remodeling, decks and patios, and water damage rebuilds each have their own page. Homeowners reach the service they need, see relevant work, and can request a quote without sorting through a general services page.

  3. A Clearer Way to Start a Quote

The same Get Started path appears in the header, on the service pages, and at the end of every project post, with the phone number visible alongside it. General contact and quote requests are separate forms, so the intent behind each inquiry is clear.

  4. A Simple Way to Show Finished Work

Completed projects publish with photographs and a plain description of the work, then appear with the service they relate to. Homeowners find examples that resemble their own project, and the team chooses which work to feature first.

One System for Getting Found and Turning Interest Into a Quote

A homeowner may first find the company through a Google ad, a Local Services Ad, a service page, a project photograph or a local result. Each path should give the homeowner the same three things, the right service, examples of similar work, and a clear way to request a quote.

Google Ads and Local Services Ads

Search campaigns send homeowners to the service page that matches their query. Local Services Ads give people another direct way to call. We review search terms, lead actions and cost over time, then put more budget behind the services producing quote requests. Relevant ads pointed at useful landing pages also support ad relevance and landing page experience.

Local Search

We keep business information aligned across the major listings and aggregators, support the review process, and look for local visibility opportunities that fit the business. When someone searches for work the company does in a place it serves, they should find accurate information and real proof of the work.

The Website

The site is built with WordPress, Kadence Pro and reusable page blocks that are practical to maintain. Adding a project, changing a service or improving a landing page is an ordinary update instead of a development request. If an ad needs a better landing page, we can make the change without waiting for a rebuild cycle.

GA4 Lead Tracking

GA4 records completed quote forms and phone-number taps separately. A form submission shows that someone requested a quote, and a tap shows intent to call. The team can compare Google Ads, Local Services Ads, local search and direct visits against those actions, so reporting shows where people take the next step and not only who visited.

Lead Intake and Job Management

A quote request only matters if the team can act on it. Marketplace inquiries now move into JobTread with the original project context, not as a name and a phone number. The workflow cuts manual entry, gives the team a clearer starting point, and keeps the lead source attached, so marketing activity can be connected to the opportunities the team receives.

The Work in Context

A Service Page That Answers a Specific Need

The Best Austin Handyman kitchen remodeling page, showing the service description, project photographs and a Get Started call to action
A homeowner searching for a kitchen remodel reaches a page focused on that project type, with examples of finished work on it and a direct way to request a quote.

Finished Work Becomes Useful Proof

The Recent Work archive, a grid of completed project posts with photographs and titles covering kitchens, bathrooms, decks and outdoor builds
Project posts pair photographs with a plain description of the work and can be organized by service, so a homeowner finds relevant examples instead of scrolling through one general gallery.

Designed First for the Phone in Someone's Hand

Two phone screenshots side by side, the homepage with a Menu button and the opened navigation drawer listing services, about links and a Get Started button
The mobile header keeps the call button and the quote path within reach, and the drawer opens straight onto the five services a homeowner is most likely to need.
